BIO

J. C. Kurtz was born 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived the first 18 years in a western suburb. This afforded J.C.

Kurtz attended Texas A&M University (TAMU) on an athletic scholarship and is a letterman in two sports. He holds a BS degree from TAMU and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.

He has studied the abstract expressionist oil paintings of Russian born Wassliy Kandinsky, Vassliy Kandinsky, Gerhard Richter, Piet Mondrain, Yves Klein, Sonia Delaunay, Mark Rothko, Hilma af Klint, Americans Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell.

He may, or may not have traveled to the following locations to study and view first hand International abstract renderings:

The Tate Modern, Rijksmuseum, Prado Museum, Uffizi Gallery, Gagosian, Art Institute of Chicago,The Louvre, The National Gallery, The Metropolitan Museum
